Prior to launching his own firm, Mr. Stutzman was a partner at Navigators Global, LLC, where he managed the firm’s strategic communications practice and led several national communications campaigns on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and industry trade associations.
Before joining Navigators Global, Mr. Stutzman was deputy chief of staff for communications to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. In this capacity, he oversaw press, speechwriting and public appearances for California’s populist celebrity governor. He also served as co-communications director in the historic California Recall of 2003 that placed Schwarzenegger in office, leading PR Weekly to observe he has had a “front row seat in politics throughout California’s recent tumultuous political history.”
