Former Congressman Denver Riggleman Joins Navigators Global

WASHINGTON, DC – Navigators Global is pleased to announce that Denver Riggleman, the former Congressman representing Virginia’s 5th district, has joined the firm as a Senior Strategist effective immediately. Riggleman will utilize his political and policy acumen, unique experience, and diverse background to help clients overcome challenges in an evolving Washington.

Riggleman brings his expertise and insight on public policy, Congress, and the Executive Branch to the firm. He provides insight on a wide variety of issue sectors including national security, global finance, foreign affairs, artificial intelligence, and cannabis and hemp issues, among others. In addition to his role as Senior Strategist, Riggleman will join the firm’s national security practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Riggleman served in the U.S. Congress, representing his constituents in the 5th District of Virginia. During his time in Congress, Riggleman served on the Financial Services Committee, where he was Vice Ranking Member of the International Development and Monetary Policy Subcommittee and on the National Security and Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions Subcommittees. He also served as co-chair of the China Task Force national security and technology pillars and was a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Working Group.

Riggleman previously served as a United States Air Force Intelligence Officer supporting the global war on terror. He is also the co-owner and Principal of Silverback Distillery, an award-winning, international acclaimed maker of whiskey.
