Former Director of Trump Transition Policy Implementation Joins Navigators Global
We are pleased to announce that Ado Machida, former Director of Policy Implementation for Trump for America, Inc., has joined the Navigators team.
Mr. Machida is the second of the original 12 Trump Transition team members to join Navigators Global. Former Trump Transition Deputy National Security Adviser Andy Keiser joined the firm in December of 2016.
Mr. Machida will lead Navigators Global’s issues management practice. He returns to the firm after serving as a strategic partner from December 1, 2006 through March 31, 2009.

Mr. Machida was most recently the Director of Policy Implementation for the Trump Transition effort. In this role, he was responsible for managing over 200 people to develop Day 1/Day 100/Day 200 action plans for the Trump Administration. He and his team developed over 200 Executive Orders, Secretarial Guidance, regulatory change, and legislative proposals to achieve the campaign promises then-candidate Donald J. Trump articulated. In addition, he was responsible for briefing Cabinet Secretary nominees on policy issues and guiding them through the confirmation process, which included drafting and responding to Questions for Responses from the Senate.
Prior to his time with the Trump Transition, Mr. Machida served as Chief Domestic Policy Officer for Vice President Dick Cheney. Before this, Mr. Machida was Assistant to the Republican Leader, Senator Bob Dole.
