WASHINGTON, DC – Sarah Rogers, Director of Federal Government Affairs at Walmart Inc., will join Navigators Global LLC — an all-Republican, full-service issues management, government relations, and strategic communications firm located in Washington, D.C.

Rogers will join Navigators Global as Vice President of Legislative Affairs, where she will provide high-impact government relations services aimed at solving legislative and regulatory challenges.

“Sarah is a valuable addition to Navigators Global. With her credibility and experience on Capitol Hill both in Congress and the private sector, Sarah will provide clients with a rare combination of advocacy service and issue expertise,” said Navigators President and Founding Principal Phil Anderson. “It’s not often that someone of Sarah’s caliber becomes available in Washington, and we’re pleased to welcome her to the Navigators team.”

Rogers will join Navigators’s growing government relations and issue management team, which most recently added two former Trump Transition officials – Ado Machida and Andy Keiser. Mr. Machida joined the firm in February of 2017 as the second of the original 12 Trump Transition team members to join Navigators Global. Former Trump Transition Deputy National Security Adviser Andy Keiser joined the firm in December of 2016. Rogers will also work together with Navigators Global Executive Committee members Phil Anderson, Jim Pitts, Chris Cox, and Cesar Conda.

As the Director of Federal Government Affairs at Walmart, Rogers leads outreach efforts with a multitude of House Republican offices, including Leadership. In addition, she collaborates with trade associations and coalitions to advance the company’s legislative priorities and manages its federal labor relations and veterans’ portfolios. Prior to joining Walmart, Rogers served as Chief of Staff to Representative Patrick Meehan (R-PA).
